ABOUT
I am interested in what happens in space beyond what we can see.
Any place today is inhabited by layers that exist in parallel with us — layers of data, digital objects and accumulated memory. They are not a metaphor or a vision of the future — they are already here, in the same space as the viewer.
I work with modes of visibility — with how the same place can be simultaneously empty to the eye and dense to technology. Through different ways of recording, reconstructing and perceiving space, previously unseen layers of a place become apparent. This is the moment that interests me: when a place stops being a neutral background, and it becomes palpable that it extends beyond the limits of our perception.
A place is not a backdrop for human action, but a participant with its own properties, behaviours and temporal processes. These projects explore the coexistence of different modes of presence as a fundamental condition of how we inhabit space today.
