Installation for the sound bath buffer zone

hosq Notations #2 “Rituals”, National Gallery of Armenia, Yerevan, July–August 2026

The work occupies the room preceding the sound session space. This is the transition where the visitor slows down, and waits for their twenty-minute slot. The installation prepares perception: it shifts attention from external focus to peripheral, softens the layer of the existing space and brings it into doubt before the visitor gives themselves over to the sound session.
The screens show a digital copy of this same room, including the frescoes reproduced as textures. Architectural staffage figures move slowly through the copy, the silent scale-markers that usually live in models to indicate proportion. Here they get their own trajectories and inhabit the digital twin in parallel with the real viewer.

The work continues the line of “Corner” and the Liminal.tmp series, which investigate the boundary between physical space and its digital copy.
